Shelties are high energy, eager to please and extremely loving. Before you add a new member to your family please make sure you are fully committed. Please spend time researching the breed to make sure they are a fit for your family.
I‘ve been lucky enough to live with Shelties since birth. Originally with Gordie and G.B. who moved from Guernsey, Channel Islands, to Oregon with my family when I was a child. I was then blessed with Tip and Rachel who spent many years in 4-H with me doing obedience and showmanship. Yes, we blew the competition out of the water and I’m sure my ribbons and trophies are still in the attic! College and beyond we have loved and lost Davey, Toby, Benny and Joey.
Our children are involved with the emotional and social development of our Shelties so the puppies are experienced with little hands and the hugs, kisses and loving squeezes that come with that. Puppies are handled daily, experience kennel and potty training, and are ready for their forever home at 8 weeks old.
Our dogs are beautiful family pets that spend their days with our family and their nights snuggled in bed with us. They are all very well socialized, enjoy camping & boating, spending time in our new large yard, exploring our neighborhood while walking with our children and snuggling up at night on the couch for a good movie. We want to pass along the healthy genetics and joyful personalities of our Shelties to you.
Please note, we are not a kennel or puppy mill rather a small hobby breeder where each pup receives personal care. Located in Albany, we are in close proximity to Portland, Salem and Eugene.
Healthy dogs are our mission. Please have patience while we continue to raise our Shelties and prepare them for their next litter. Our Shelties are raised in a loving home with two young children, our small mixed breed shelter rescue, Jack, and our senior Sheltie, Joey. When puppies are available they will be posted online. Puppies go home with their 1st vaccinations, dewormed three times, declaws removed, limited AKC registration, pups favorite toy and homemade blanket.
Shelties have a life expectancy of 12-14 years. Please make sure you are ready for the emotional and financial commitment.
Owning a Sheltie will change your life, bringing you into a larger family you never knew existed. We can’t walk around town or go camping without people commenting or asking questions. Shelties bring smiles to a strangers face and fill your heart with love. Perhaps I’m biased, but Shelties are a very special creature.
We like to keep in touch! Once a pup joins your family we would love to keep in touch over the years. My greatest fault is becoming too emotionally involved. Play dates at the dog park? Yes please! Christmas cards? Send them our way!

All puppies have had their dewclaws removed, been dewormed three times, had their first vaccinations and been to Rivers Edge Pet Medical Center for their Puppy Wellness Exam.
Puppies go home with their AKC paperwork if you’d like to register them with the AKC.
If you live too far away to drive, we are able to bring your puppy to either PDX or EUG airports. We do require to puppy to fly in cabin and not as cargo. Don’t want to fly? We are more than willing to hop on that flight for you. Please inquire about pricing.
